Our products are made from materials that are naturally compostable such as leaves or cane fibres. These materials are agricultural residue and are usually let to degrade in the farm. Instead of allowing the leaves to degrade into the soil, we pick them and turn them into environmental friendly tablewares.
We only use natural residues because of the unique benefits they offer. To start with, it doesn’t consume any extra energy to produce them. This keeps carbon emissions of our raw material procurement process at nearly zero. This is a tremendous benefit compared to energy consumed to produce plastic or paper.
Natpro products are the best eco friendly alternatives to plastic and paper based tablewares. While the manufacturing of plastic and paper plates consumes huge amount of energy and chemicals, emits huge quantity of carbon, our products are manufactured with negligible carbon footprint, if not zero.
In fact, our raw materials are carbon negative as they are pure leaves and grow by consuming carbon which would offset the carbon generated during the manufacturing process.
While plastic take hundreds of years to disintegrate, paper based tablewares take years to decompose. Paper or plastic tablewares consume even more energy if they are to be recycled. However, Natpro products are home compostable, so guaranteed to consume no energy at al and emits no new carbon and could be potentially used as fertiliser to make your backyard look beautiful!
Our products use no chemicals, so they are as kind to one’s health and our surroundings as it can get. Where possible, we re-use the best quality packaging materials to keep our carbon emission as low as possible.
